Sometimes, one gets to procrastinating and decides that one wants to go gadget browsing.
And sometimes, one will come across things that are decidedly ridiculous but still, will leave one uttering (occassionally completely involuntarily) Oh my [insert preferred exclamation here - suggestions: gosh, gawd, goodness, bak kut teh]!! I want one!
And so it was that the following gadgets were eye-catching gems:
The Robo Boyfriend
Still looking for the perfect man? Why look further when he can be perfectly programmed? The downside: while he'll buy you everything you want, he'll also be using all your money. Oh well, a small price to pay for a hard man - with a built-in vibrate system. (-_-')
Unfortunately, i think it was an April Fool's prank 'cos he's been discontinued. *snort* maybe many disgruntled men out there complained.
iKaraoke
In the wake of IH Idol, all i wanna do is... sing! No really.. rather than a karaoke machine, endless pirated karaoke cds and mikes, this has it all! A mike connected to your ipod with a suppressor for the original vocals. And a FM frequency transmitter to send it all to your stereo. Google up some lyrics, call some friends over, throw in some booze, and you have yourself a party! I guess i'll still miss the cheesy romance scenes in traditional karaoke though.
The Ice Candle
Well, it's an ice candle? That's one of the coolest oxymoronic inventions ever! Like the black light and the small big mac.. it's just one of those things that, regardless of utility or relevancy, would be awesome to just say you own. The ice exterior drips into the container giving this cool glacier effect to your tealight. Classy. Like barry white, fur rugs and water beds classy. Score for the bachelor pad.
The Shockolate Vault
This little contraption is a dieters greatest dream... or nightmare, depending on your discipline. With a time vault at the top, the jar will administer an electric shock for fingers that can't resist temptation. Awesome for keeping slim or just for a laugh at unsuspecting visitors. =)
The Sun Jar
Why? Because it looks awesome and it's good for the environment. Tick Tick and Tick.
The Fly Catcher
I don't really know how it works, but the flies get attracted to something in the fly catcher, go to explore, and SNAP! Bye bye Fly... Why? Because flies are pesky little buggers and less of them is never a bad thing. Plus, also seems better than those nasty insecticides and sprays, and child-safe! (apparently)
16-in-1 Universal Control (with Backlight)
Going into the downright silly now, the key question in this case is - Why Not?
Sort of makes you wonder about the storyline for Click though.
Alright, enough gadget browsing! It did let me come across some cool gadget blogs though, like
Shiny Shiny - the gadget blog for girls! Awesome...
Happy Easter everyone!
